My research focuses
on how macro-level social structures are produced,
conserved, and altered during face-to-face interaction. In
particular, I
work with mathematical models of identity and emotion that
attempt to
model the link between structure, culture, and individual
social action
and experience. Most of my research involves experimental
tests of these
theories in small group settings.
