My research focuses on a variety of public health issues related to criminal justice. I consult with jail and juvenile justice facilities focusing on reentry services for offenders with co-occurring disorders, drug court program treatment curricula, jail suicide prevention protocol and social worker self-care. My interests also include health disparities in the criminal justice system, alternatives to incarceration, (e.g., drug courts, mental health jail diversion), program development and evaluation, and community and faith-based health promotion strategies.
