My areas of research include economic impact analyses, economic evaluation, and quality of life assessment in vulnerable populations. In the last 5 years I have focused my attention on the cost-effectiveness of violence prevention programs, including interventions designed to prevent child maltreatment and reduce intimate partner violence. Since coming to UGA in 2006, my interests have broadened to include the economic evaluation of substance use prevention and treatment interventions, and in exploring health-related quality of life in newly immigrated Hispanics.
