My research
focuses on the measurement and management of stuttering, a disorder
of speech production that affects approximately 1% of adults
and 3-5% of children worldwide. My specific research interests
lie in the following areas: measurement of stuttered speech;
the interaction between improved measurement procedures and improved
treatments for stuttering in children and adults; and treatment
delivery questions for children who stutter, including issues
related to parent education.
