Institute for Behavioral Research (IBR) at the University of Georgia

The Effective Interventions Work Group promotes research on the development and assessment of interventions and curricula designed to improve developmental outcomes. The group will act as a support group of individuals who have been involved in, or want to be involved in, the development and testing of interventions designed to improve cognitive and other outcomes for children. One goal is to help individual faculty or groups of faculty obtain external funding by reviewing and discussing proposed research design. A second goal is to have grant applications developed that consider the complexity of development with a focus on how intervention in diverse factors may have consequences for later emerging cognitive abilities.
